The Call of Duty World League wrapped up its return to Fort Worth this weekend, providing a thrilling tournament for esports fans and competitive gamers.

CWL Fort Worth featured sixteen professional teams—comprised of the best Call of Duty esports players in the world—competing for the CWL Fort Worth Cup. It also hosted an action-packed amateur-only tournament featuring its own dedicated prize pool.

As always, multiple streams highlighting all the action could be viewed live on Twitch.tv/CallofDuty, MLG.com, and of course the MLG.TV Channel on TCL Roku TVs. But TCL was on-site to witness the intensity of pro and amateur teams battling it out for their share of the $325,000 prize pool!

Award-winning CWL broadcaster Clint “Maven” Evans kicked off the tournament in Fort Worth with an episode of Hot Mic presented by TCL. He sat down with pros Attach, Clayster, and Envoy, to breakdown all the roster changes and preparation going into the Fort Worth event.

TCL Beat the Pro

Once the action on the main stage started, the energy at the Fort Worth Convention Center remained electric! Amid the action, fans were able to visit the TCL Booth for big screen gaming, free limited-edition t-shirts, and the chance to “Beat the Pro” and win a TCL Roku TV of their own!

On Friday, fans battled 1v1 current CWL broadcaster and former pro Anthony “Nameless” Wheeler for a chance to win a 55” 6-Series TV. In the end, Nameless lost only three times, proving he’s still as competitive as ever. The following day, fellow broadcaster and former pro Joe “MerK” Deluca sat down to play fans and bested Nameless’ record, losing just 1 game!

Blackout with Miles and Momo

The action continued Championship Sunday with broadcasters Philip “Momo” Whitfield and Miles “The” Ross teaming up with fans for Blackout inside the TCL Booth. Playing on TCL 5-Series TVs, the casters and fans enjoyed competitive play and an immersive experience thanks to 5-Series’ low input lag, wide color gamut, and crisp 4K resolution.

Throughout the weekend, TCL provided fans with even more ways to enjoy the event. By stopping by the TCL Booth, fans were able to get their hands on a limited-edition TCL Game Time t-shirt, made specially for Fort Worth. The adjacent TCL Lounge also gave attendees one of the best seats in the house to watch the main stage action unfold.
