Each year, Call of Duty® World League (CWL) stops in Anaheim, CA to host one of its largest events of the season. As a perennial fan favorite, CWL Anaheim draws the best Call of Duty pro esports teams in the world, along with amateur players, and the most passionate fans, for three days of action-packed competition.

The top Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players play for their share of a $325,000 prize pool, while 192 amateur teams compete in their own open bracket tournament. For those who aren’t competing, CWL Anaheim delivers the ultimate Call of Duty fan fest. Attendees can meet with players, shop gaming accessories, and of course play against other fans!

The TCL Experience

Last year TCL proudly enhanced the fan experience with the TCL VIP Lounge, which hosted Beat the Pro competitions, open gameplay, and provided the best seat in the house to watch the main stage action unfold. This year, TCL was excited to bring much more to the event.

Award-winning CWL broadcaster Clint “Maven” Evans kicked off the tournament in Anaheim with an episode of Hot Mic presented by TCL. He sat down with pros Loony, Slasher and CWL’s own Nameless, to breakdown all the roster changes and preparation going into the Anaheim event.

The TCL Lounge was back, once again providing comfortable views of all the main stage action. Amid the action inside the Anaheim Convention Center, fans were also able to visit the TCL Booth for big screen gaming, limited-edition t-shirts, and the chance to "Beat the Pro" and win a TCL TV of their own!

Each day of the event, fans battled 1v1 current CWL broadcasters and former pro players for a chance to win a 55” 6-Series TV. The roster included Anthony “Nameless” Wheeler, Jeremy “Studyy” Asatcio, Joe “MerK” Deluca, and Jeremy “Neslo” Olsen. As the weekend rolled into Championship Sunday, TCL kept the action going with broadcasters Philip “Momo” Whitfield and Miles “The” Ross, who teamed up with fans to play Blackout inside the TCL Booth.

Playing on TCL 5-Series TVs, the pros, casters, and fans enjoyed competitive play and an immersive experience thanks to 5-Series’ low input lag, wide color gamut, and crisp 4K resolution.

CWL Anaheim Comes to a Close

There were some pretty intense match-ups throughout the three days of the event, but Gen.G and 100Thieves emerged as the top teams in the tourney. As winners of CWL London, 100Thieves ultimately continued their dominant winning streak to be crowned back-to-back champions at Call of Duty World League Anaheim.
