Stars Jarvis Landry and Melvin Gordon Score 4K HDR TVs for Fans and Charitable Causes Each Week

CORONA, Calif. - September 4, 2018 - TCL®, one of the world’s largest and America’s fastest-growing television brand, today announced it will once again be giving away 4K TVs each week of the 2018 football season and one grand prize winner will win tickets to The Big Game on February 3, 2019 in Atlanta. This year’s TCL 4K Football Challenge will feature Cleveland wide receiver Jarvis “Juice” Landry and Los Angeles running back Melvin Gordon III. Landry and Gordon will help dedicated fans and charitable foundations win 4K HDR TVs by giving their best performance in the games. The newest addition to the TCL 4K Challenge will feature football writer and host of popular fantasy football shows, Field Yates.

Starting today, fans who visit www.TCL4KFootball.com can select either Jarvis or Melvin to play for them and two winners will be chosen each week - one from team Jarvis and one from team Melvin - to face each other in a head-to-head challenge, for a total of 34 winners.  To give participants an extra edge, Field Yates will host a weekly video, where he will discuss if he is picking Team Jarvis or Team Melvin to win their match-up that week. The player who ends the week with the most fantasy points will secure a 55” 4K HDR TCL 6-Series Roku TV™ for the contestant who chose them, while their competitor will receive a 43” 4K HDR 5-Series TCL Roku TV.

“TCL’s line of 4K HDR Roku TVs are the perfect addition for any game day this season. Our sets offer the best in smart TV platforms and a stunning picture to watch every down and every tackle,” said Chris Larson, senior vice president, TCL. “We are excited to be working with Jarvis and Melvin again to give fans a way to make their viewing experience even better with the TCL 4K Football Challenge. With an opportunity to play each week, fans will have multiple chances to score an award-winning hTCL TV or the grand prize trip to the biggest game of the year.”

Star of HBO’s Hard Knocks and three-time Pro Bowler, Jarvis Landry has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in football, leading the league in receptions in 2017. His dominant on-field performance can now help fans and his charity program – Jarvis Landry GiveBack, where he supplies disadvantaged youth from his hometown community in Louisiana with backpacks filled with school supplies.

“I’m excited to play in the TCL 4K Football Challenge for the third straight year and use my performance on the field to help support my community,” said Landry. “Last season was a great year for me and I am working hard to bring wins, not only to Cleveland, but to the fans who support me in the TCL Challenge and my GiveBack Program.”

Coming off his best season yet, former first round pick and Pro-Bowler Melvin Gordon III has quickly made a name for himself as one of the best young dual threat running backs in the league. Gordon is not just rushing for fans this season, but also for the Emilio Nares Foundation, which helps underserved families navigate through their child’s journey with cancer by providing programs to aid a child’s best chance of recovery.

“It’s great to be back for the TCL 4K Football Challenge and fight for these underprivileged families and children who are being supported by ENF. When I win, they win,” said Gordon. “I have been looking forward to this all year and, by the end of the season, I want to make sure my fans will be watching our games on a brand new TCL TV.”
