TCL Teams Up with UCLA Athletics and Becomes the Official TV of the Rose Bowl
CORONA, Calif. - November 10, 2016 - TCL®, one of the world’s largest and America’s fastest-growing television brand, is now the official TV of the Rose Bowl, one of the most iconic stadiums in sporting history and home to the annual Rose Bowl game. TCL has also announced a new long-term partnership with UCLA Athletics, one of the world's most recognizable collegiate athletic programs, to become an official sponsor of the Bruins football and basketball teams beginning with the 2016-17 season.
“As the official TV partner of the Rose Bowl, it’s an honor to have our premium televisions featured in this historic stadium known for hosting the highest attended college bowl game. We offer fans a way to watch football from anywhere, from the venue to homes or tailgates across the country, with stunning picture on our award-winning TVs,” said Chris Larson, vice president of sales and marketing, TCL. “TCL is thrilled to work with UCLA. Their legacy as a world-class institution with high-performing teams aligns perfectly with our position as a global leader producing high quality electronics.”
As part of the agreement, TCL 4K Roku TVs and signage will be featured throughout the Rose Bowl for UCLA football games. Additionally, TCL will have prominent signage featured in Pauley Pavilion, home to the Bruins basketball team.
“We’re excited to partner with a brand like TCL, both a tremendous growth company and world-leader in its industry, and we look forward to the beginning of a very successful relationship,” said UCLA Senior Associate Athletic Director Josh Rebholz.
Strengthening its commitment to sports and the community, TCL has also teamed up with former UCLA stand-out Anthony Barr. A consensus All-American in college, Minnesota star Anthony Barr has become one of the best young linebackers in football and through the TCL 4K Football Challenge he’s able to benefit his charity Raise the Barr - Powered by A.B.F, which helps single mothers pursue higher education.
